Detail itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi.

Arrival at Delhi IGI  International airport, On arrival  traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) our company representative would assist you at the airport & transfer to hotel for check-in.

Settled several times over millennia, this city has grown in a way that reflects its past, while retaining its cosmopolitan flavour. Delhi is India’s showcase, be it architecture, religion, shopping, culture – everything is available here – waiting to be discovered.

Overnight stay at Hotel.

 

Day 02: Delhi

After leisure breakfast at Hotel, proceed for the glimpses and sightseeing tour of Delhi which has its own history and the monuments.  Full day sightseeing visiting Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, lotus temple and then travel through India Gate, The Parliament House and Presidents House.

Not to miss the Old Delhi which is known as “Shahjahanbad”. Visit imposing Red Fort, The Friday Mosque, Birla Templeand Chandni Chowck (The Moonlight Square).

Day 03: Delhi – Varanasi.

After leisure breakfast you will transfer to airport to connect flight for Varanasi. Met on arrival in Varanasi and transfer to hotel.
VARANASI said to be as spiritual capital of India, which is founded by Shiva, Lord of the Universe. One of the oldest living cities in the world, as also one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India, Varanasi is a major tourist attraction. Situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges, the city has been a centre of learning and civilisation for over 2000 years.

Later proceed for the half day city tour of Varanasi visiting Benares Hindu University, Durga temple & Bharat Mata temple (Mother India Temple).

In evening, experience Puja ceremony at Varanasi Ghat.

Day 04: Varanasi – Khajuraho.

Early morning visit to Dasaswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world’s oldest and most important religions.(Start at 0500 hrs. for the best lifetime experience) for you to appreciate this remarkable city, transfer to the banks of the River Ganges before the sun rises. Board a boat with your guide and proceed to the middle of the river, where at sunrise the sight unfolds before you.Thousands of worshiper’s come daily to the banks to bath and pray while in the background, temples and palaces rise in tiers from the water’s edge. Return for a walk through the cobblestone streets along the banks of “Ganga”.

After morning walk return to hotel and take wash and change . After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to airport and take flight for Khajuraho.

KHAJURAHO is well known for its magnificent temples.The Western Group of temples, contains some stunning sculptures.Khajuraho derives its name from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree) which can be found in abundance in the area.The divine sculptures in these temples, are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. The murals depict the life and times of the Chandelas, and celebrate the erotic state of being. They not only testify to the mastery of the craftsman, but also to the extraordinary breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs under whose reign, these temples were constructed.

After check-in visit the Eastern group of temples.

Day 05: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh.

After leisure breakfast, visit Western group of Temples. Later drive to Bandhavgarh Check in at Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge.

 

BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK is one of the popular national parks in India. Set amongst The Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh consists of 168 sq miles & a mixed forest with large stretches of Bamboo and Grassland to The North. One is generally lucky to view The Tiger, Gaur ( Indian Bison) Chital, Chansingha     (Four horned antelope). This Park houses some 150 species of birds including the White Browed, Fantails, Blue Bearded bee eaters,and The Malabar Hornbill. The Bandhavgarh Fort, besides offering breath taking views, houses a 35 ft reclining statue of Lord Vishnu and 10th Century Rock Images of the incarnation of the Lord.

Day 06: Bandhavgarh.

Early morning game rides by 4×4 open jeep in the Park. Rest of the morning at leisure. Late afternoon game rides in the park.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh – Kanha.

Morning game rides in the jungle After breakfast, drive to Kanha Arrive Kanha and check in at Kanha Jungle Lodge.

 

KANHA NATIONAL PARK is one of the tiger reserves of India and the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Kanha provides breath taking vistas of grassy plains and strands of mixed sal / teak forests. This 366 sq mile preserve was set to save two endangered species i.e. Tiger and The Barasingha. You would also have an opportunity to see Swamp Dear, Leopard and Tiger, Black Buck, Cheetal, Indian Bison, Barking Dear, Sambhar, . Overnight at Kanha jungle Lodge.

 

Day  09: Kanha.

Early morning game rides by 4×4 open jeep in the Park. Rest of the morning at leisure. Late afternoon game rides in the park.

Day 10:  Kanha – Nagpur.

for the morning game drive in to the park. And later proceed to Nagpur.

NAGPUR is the second capital and the third largest city of the Indian state of Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune. This city derived its name from the river Nag that flows through it.The Gond King of Deogad, “Bakht Buland Shah” laid the city’s foundation in the year 1702. Nagpur was the capital of Madhya Bharat State (C.P. and Berar) after Indian independence and in 1960, the Marathi majority Vidarbha region was merged with the new state of Maharashtra.

Day 11: Nagpur – Mumbai.

In the morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai. Morning: ferry to explore Elephanta Caves, Elephanta Caves -An island 6 miles across the harbour provide an exciting glimpses of Indian sculpture. Huge panels depict episodes relating to Lord Shiva, the central one being the most imposing one – a five meter bust of the God, represents his three aspects as creator, preserver and destroyer. Motor-launch takes about an hour to reach this island where the caves are situated.

 

Afternoon: City tour of Mumbai including Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum and Kamla Nehru Park, then ascend the slopes of Malabar Hill with its Hanging Gardens for a panoramic view. Evening transfer to the airport for onward international flight.

 

Day 12:  Mumbai.

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to airport to connect flight for onward journey with happy memories.
