Detail itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai.

Arrive at Mumbai by international flight, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport & transfer to hotel for check-in.

Mumbai, an archipelago of seven islands. Artifacts found that these islands had been inhabited since the Stone Age & documented evidence of human habitation dates back to 250 BC. In the 3rd century BC, the islands formed part of the Maurya Empire. In 1534, Portuguese appropriated islands from king of Gujarat later ceded to Charles II of England in 1661, as dowry for Catherine de Braganza. These islands were in turn leased to the British East India Company in 1668.

Day 02: Mumbai – Explore The City of Dreams.

Mumbai is a city of dreams. Many people from various parts of India come to this metropolitan city with dreams in their eyes and hope in their heart. They hope to achieve fame and success in this city and make their life immensely beautiful. It is this city that becomes the starting point of your tour. Before proceeding to Goa, you will go around and enjoy some of the most famous attractions of the city. So have your breakfast and set out for an exciting day.

Your first stop will be the Gateway of India. This Gateway was constructed to mark the historic visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Admire the huge gateway and find out more about its architecture. The gateway is also a starting point to visit the Elephanta caves. From the Gateway itself, ferries will take you to the famous caves. If you want to explore the caves, catch a ferry leaving at that time. Alternatively, take a short trip in the sea water and move to your next destination (remember you just have a day to explore Mumbai).

You will next pay a visit to two of the most famous religious destination in the city. The first one is the Mahalaxmi Temple and the second one is the Dargah of Haji Ali. Both these places of worship are close by and makes for an easy quick visit. The Mahalaxmi temple is dedicated to the Goddess of wealth while the Dargah marks the place where the casket of the respected saint, Haji Ali floated to after his death in Mecca.

In the evening, visit the nearby market place and shop for some ethnic Indian goods. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 03: Mumbai – Cochin (by flight).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to airport  and take flight for Cochin. On arrival cochin meeting & assistance at airport and transfer to hotel and take rest. Cochin always had a very popular & historical sea trade connection with the Middle East, Mediterranean Europe & the Dutch. It has one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian coastline. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings & structures representing different regions of the world.
Evening time enjoy Kerala’s most popular classical dance, Kathakali.

Day 04: Cochin – Munnar ((135 Kms./ 04- 05 hrs. drive approx).

After  leisure breakfast , you will process half day  sightseeing tour of Cochin.Today you will visit St. Francis Church, which is the oldest European Church in India. Visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in the year 1568 and magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles & Belgian chandeliers. Giant scrolls of the Old Testament can be found here. Also visit the spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices & history that brought the world to its doorstep. Chinese fishing nets, (Cheenavala) are distinctly unique to Cochin. It is believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan introduced these nets here.

After sightseeing drive to Munnar.  Munnar is one of the most popular hill-resort towns in Kerala. on arrival check-in to hotel and take rest.

Day 05: Munnar.

After leisure breakfast, you will visit to Munnar Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea here has a famous tea museum inside its complex. The museum has photographs and curios which relate the evolution of tea plantations in Munnar. This Tea Museum houses curios, photographs and machinery. Also visit Echo Points , CSI Church and Mattupetty. It’s located about 13 km from Munnar. Mattupetty is known for its dam and the beautiful lake, which offers pleasurable boat rides. Later visit the Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake. The shimmering blue lake is the most photographed part of Kundala. Take a stroll in the tea estate, and enjoy the refreshing mountain breeze. Here you can view the entire process of making tea, right from plucking of tealeaves to their processing. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

 Day 06 : Munnar – Periyar ( 94 Kms./03 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Periyar. On arrival check into the hotel and take small rest. After rest visit to Periyar is a wildlife heaven, sprawling across 777 sq. km of the Cardamom Hills in the Western Ghats; Thekkady is the home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Alive with exotic flora and vibrant wildlife, it is the perfect getaway tucked away among hills In this century enjoy Boat ride and see the Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds.  After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 07: Periyar –  Alleppy ( 139 kms./ 03 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive Alleppy . It’s also known as Alappuzha, and called Venice of the East. A town with picturesque canals, backwaters & lagoons, It has a wonderful past, it owes its existence to the sagacious Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams & canals with lush green coconut palms, was well known even from the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece & Rome in the era before Christ. Alleppey is now the hub for backwaters tourism in Kerala.


On arrival we board the Houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, cruise around the backwaters of Alleppey to Kumarakom to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Holiday on the houseboats are an out-of-this-world experience. All meal served at houseboat.


Day 08: Kumarkom  – Kovalam  (194 Kms. / 05 hours drive approx ).

After leisure breakfast check-out from the houseboat and visit to Kumarkom bird Bird sanctuary. Latter you will drive to Kumarkom. . On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest. Balance day free for leisure.

Day 09: Kovalam.

After leisure breakfast day free for leisure and explore the beaches.

Day 10:  Kovalam – Trivandrum Depart for Home.

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Trivandrum  airport for onward journey with pleasant experience.
