Day 01: Arrive at Mumbai.  

Arrive at Mumbai by international flight, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport & transfer to hotel for check-in

Balance day free for leisure and take rest.
Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 02: Mumbai Sightseeing.

After leisure breakfast , you will process for sightseeing tour of Mumbai. The Gateway of India is the main attraction of Mumbai city. The Mani Bhawan or the Gandhi memorial was once used to be the residence of Mahatma Gandhi in Mumbai. Considered as one of the best museums in the country, Also known as Queen’s Neckless, Marine Drive. Juhu is a 5-km-long beach that attracts a large number of visitors on any day of the week. Also visit gardens like the Hanging Garden and the Kamla Nehru Garden and Chowpatty gives you the view of one of the most happening beaches of Mumbai.

Evening time free for leisure and enjoy Mumbai night life.

Day 03: Mumbai – Aurangabad ( by flight ).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to airport. On air port take flight for Aurangabad . On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest. Evening free for leisure.

Day 04: Aurangabad  – Ajanta caves Sightseeing.

After leisure breakfast , you will process excursion to Ajanta caves, heritage site especially related to Buddhism from the period of 200 BC to 650 AD. The caves here also have Jataka stories that are famous for their moral and religious. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 05: Aurangabad – Ellora Caves Sightseeing. 

After leisure breakfast , you will process excursion to Ellora caves which houses 34 monasteries and temples with some exclusive uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 06: Aurangabad –  Dhar  ( 320Kms. /07 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast , check out the hotel and drive to Dhar. On arrive Dhar and check in to the heritage hotel set amidst beautiful landscape. Evening time explore this quaint little town on a walking tour.

Day 07: Dhar – Indore ( 60Kms. /01hrs.drive approx ).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel  and drive to Indore . En route you will visit Maheshwar, the Chattri of Ahalya Bai who died in 1795.On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest.  Afternoon  excursion to Onkareshwar. This island in the Narmada River was said to be the site of two of India’s 12 great shiva temples when Mahmud of Ghazni marched to Somnath to destroy the temple there . After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 08:  Indore – ujjain ( 55Kms. /01 hrs. drive approx). 

After leisure breakfast , we will drive to Ujjain, the city which traces its origin to the very dawn of Indian history and has a great tradition of learning and culture. Arrive Ujjain and check – in at hotel. Later visit the temple of Mahakaleshwar, observatory of masonry, Jantar Mantar, bathing ghats of Shipra Rive and Gopal Mandir, a 19th century temple of Maratha style architecture. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 09: Ujjain – Bhopal (200Kms. /05 hrs. drive approx). 

After leisure breakfast ,check out the hotel and drive to Bhopal. On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest. Evening time free for leisure.

Day 10: Bhopal – Sanchi excursion. ( 200Kms. /05 hrs. drive approx). 

After leisure breakfast , you will process excursion to Sanchi, which has distinction of having the finest specimens of almost all Buddhist architectural forms, stupa, Chaiya, temples and monasteries dating from 3rd century. Later visit Udaygiri caves, the Gupta caves here date from 320 to 606 AD two of them are Jain, the other 18 are Hindu. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 11: Bhopal –  Jhansi – Orchha ( by train).

Morning visit the Bhimbekta caves, where about 700 rock shelters belonging to the Neolithic age and over 500 caves have painting of pre historic man. Afternoon transfer to Railway Station to board Shatabadi Express for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and transfer to Orchha.  Arrive Orchha and check – in at hotel and take rest.

Day 12: Orchha  – Gwalior  ( 130 Kms./ 02hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast , you will process to sightseeing tour of Orchha visiting the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century. Later drive to Gwalior visiting enroute Datia to visit the 7 storey Palace, an impressive building with some rooms still containing. Arrive Gwalior and check in at the hotel and take rest. In the evening watch ‘Son-et-Lumiere’ at the Gwalior Fort.

Day 13 : Gwalior –  Delhi ( by train). 

After leisure breakfast , you will process sightseeing of Gwalior visiting the majestic Gwalior fort is one of the largest and mightiest forts in India. Also visit Sas-Bahu Temples are 11th-century temples of Lord Vishnu while Teli-ka-Mandir is a 300-metre-high Vishnu temple of the 9th. In time transfer to Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express train for Delhi. On arrive New Delhi railway station and direct transfer to hotel and take rest.

Day 14: Delhi –  Full Day Tour.

After leisure breakfast , you will Enjoy a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad. Visit Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi, built  by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656 AD. It is renowned as the largest and the most beautiful mosque in India. Then visit the bustling Chandini Chowk, the old  marketplace of Shah Jahanabad. It still retains its old world charm as a wonderful bazaar. From here we head towards Red Fort built by Shah Jahan in 1648.

 

We will also visit Raj Ghat, a memorial built in honor of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform which signifies the spot where  he was cremated on  31 January 1948. Then we drive past India Gate, the memorial commemorating the indomitable spirit of the soldiers who scarified their lives in the World War I and the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers are carved on the walls here. Further we drive past the President’s House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931.

Our next attractions will be Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. It is renowned as a World Heritage Site and the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. The towering Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world and a perfect example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar and its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

Optional – Sound and Light Show at Red Fort with dinner at Chor Bizarre restaurant with mind-blowing interiors.

Day 15 : Delhi Departure for home.

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel drive to air port to connect flight for onward journey with pleasant experience.
