Rajasthan Safari Tour

hs_feeltheroyallife

Duration: 09 Nights / 10 Days

Destination: Delhi - Udaipur – Eklingji- Haldi Ghati- Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur- Narali- Udaipur.

The Rajputs were born to be horseback riders, and the tradition was strongly enforced in the medieval ages when the cavalry formed one of the most important flanks of the desert armies. Special horses were bred at the thikanas (aristocratic homes) of the Thakurs who served their kings with armies of horsemen. The Marwari horse is an indigenous species, hardy, agile and among the notables in world breeds. In addition, the Kathiawadi and Sindhi horses are also adept at traversing the desert country side.
Safari starts from Kumbhalgarh an ideal trail with hilly terrain and forested countryside and moves from the vicinity of one old fort to another. The route passes through the villages, ruined historical monuments, and temples. The trail is one of the used routes where the ancient armies once rode and camped. Stay at the comforts of former palaces and forts to realize that no other better or more historic way of exploring the Rajasthan State is possible.

Delhi, a perfect amalgamation of the ancient and modern, is the capital city of India. It was chosen as the seat of power by several dynasties because of its strategic  location. It is also the place where several mythological cities such as the city of Indraprastha from the Hindu epic Mahabharata once blossomed. The city is dotted with amazing monuments built by the rulers of the bygone era such as Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaks, Humayun and Shah Jahan.

Major portion of New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the 20th century. A huge central administrative area was set up as a testimony to the British rule in India. Delhi is divided into New Delhi and Old Delhi, each having its own unique charm.
