Detail itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi.

Arrive by International flight. After traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Delhi, a perfect amalgamation of the ancient and modern, is the capital city of India. It was chosen as the seat of power by several dynasties because of its strategic   location. It is also the place where several mythological cities such as the city of Indraprastha from the Hindu epic Mahabharata once blossomed. The city is dotted with amazing monuments built by the rulers of the bygone era such as Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaks, Humayun and Shah Jahan.

Major portion of New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the 20th century. A huge central administrative area was set up as a testimony to the British rule in India. Delhi is divided into New Delhi and Old Delhi, each having its own unique charm.

Day 02: Delhi – Full Day Tour.

After leisure breakfast , you will process to a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad. Visit Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi, built  by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656 AD. It is renowned as the largest and the most beautiful mosque in India. Then visit the bustling Chandini Chowk, the old  marketplace of Shah Jahanabad. It still retains its old world charm as a wonderful bazaar. From here we head towards Red Fort built by Shah Jahan in 1648.

 

We will also visit Raj Ghat, a memorial built in honor of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform which signifies the spot where  he was cremated on  31 January 1948. Then we drive past India Gate, the memorial commemorating the indomitable spirit of the soldiers who scarified their lives in the World War I and the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers are carved on the walls here. Further we drive past the President’s House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931.

Our next attractions will be Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. It is renowned as a World Heritage Site and the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. The towering Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world and a perfect example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar and its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

Optional – Sound and Light Show at Red Fort with dinner at Chor Bizarre restaurant with mind-blowing interiors.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra (220 Kms./04 hrs drive approx).

After leisure breakfast in morning you will drive to Agra upon arrival check in to the hotel take small break .After break you will process half day tour of Agra. History says, Agra was founded by Sultan Sikander Lodi in 1504. But it flourished much later under Mughal patronage. If it’s Agra, Taj Mahal (closed every Friday) has to be your halt. The white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal on the banks of Yamuna, is the ultimate epitome of love. Owing to beautiful Mughal architecture, Taj features among the Seven Wonders of The World.

Latter you will visit Agra Fort made of red sandstone by Akbar in 1565 is another classic example of Mughal craftsmanship.

Evening time free for leisure and shopping.

Day 04: Agra – Ranthambore (240 Kms./06 hrs drive approx)

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

Today morning after having breakfast drive towards the thrilling tiger reserve of Rajasthan Ranthambore – one of the most famous tiger reserve in India it is a delight for nature lovers and photographers. On the way to Ranthambore also visit Kelodeo Bird sanctuary popularly known as Bharatpur Bird sanctuary and enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride that allows you to watch the beautiful species of birds nestled here. Later we move ahead with our drive towards Ranthambore. On arrival check into your pre booked jungle resort and spend a leisurely evening.

Day 05: Ranthambore morning and afternoon Jungle safari.

Today begins with an early morning to enjoy the Jungle safari. The main attraction of the park is undoubtedly the tigers and you may have the probability to get the quick look of them during the safari. Apart from tigers you can also see animals such as wild deer, fox, wolfs beers, sambar, chital and many species of birds & reptiles. Later back to the hotel afternoon is free to relax. By evening once again enjoy the wildlife sightseeing with an evening jungle safari.

Day 06 : Ranthambhore – Jaipur (140 Kms./ 03 hrs. drive approx).

Morning Jeep Safari at the park. Later return to drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest.  Jaipur popularly known as Pink City, the flamboyant & colourful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich & colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors.

 

Optional – Chokhi Dhani.

An evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, ethnic village resort located at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur. Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground & includes the entertainment by folk dancers & musicians. Later drive back to hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur – Full Day Tour.

After leisure breakfast ,you will process to excursion of Amber Fort, the palace complex which stands to this date was commenced under the reign of Raja Man Singh. We take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience.

Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows)

Day 08 : Jaipur – Udaipur ( by flight).

Early morning check out the hotel and transfer to airport board flight for Udaipur. On arrival check in to the hotel take small rest.  After wash and change you will visit the City Palace , an intriguing collection of buildings contributed by various Maharanas (Kings) after Udai Singh & built in the year 1725. The magnificence of the Palace starts right from its entrance at the northern Tripolia Gate that brings us to the central courtyard, the best place to view the facade of filigreed balconies & ornate cupola-topped towers. Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honour) is an ornamental garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his daughter & the Ladies of the Queen’s court. He built the garden with several fountains, pools & is decorated with chiselled pavilions & elephants. The fountains worked on the unique hydraulic technique devised in the year 1700 AD & work till today.

Later we visit Jagdish Temple, the Indo-Aryan temple, built in the year 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh, is the largest & the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with noteworthy sculpted images. We also enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola, the beauty of the lake is enhanced by the surrounding hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats & embankments. The Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) & Jag Mandir, the two island palaces on the lake look like pearls in the lake.

Day 09 : Udaipur – Via. Ranakpur –  Kumbhalgarh (160Kms./03 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast , you will drive towards Kumbhalgarh, established by Rana Kumbha the well-known Mewar conqueror, a shrewd & a huge designer. Kumbhalgarh is the delight for the natural world lovers, as it is delimited by vegetation & flora and fauna. En route visit the well-known Ranakpur Jain Temples of 15th century. Ranakpur is Jain’s holy place and was constructed all the way through the supremacy of the open-minded & talented ruler Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The temples has domes, cupolas and turrets and the most striking feature in it are the 1444 pillars intricately carved and impressively no two of them are alike. Later continue drive to Kumbhalgarh, on arrival check in at the hotel and overnight stay at Kumbhalgarh.

 

Early morning excursion to Ranakpur Jain Temples. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 10:  Kumbhalgarh  – Udaipur – Mumbai ( Via. flight).

Morning time explore the Kumbhalgarh fort  and explore Jain temples . Latter leave to Kumbhalgarh and drive to Udaipur airport. On arrival transfer to airport to connect flight for Mumbai. On arrival Mumbai transfer to hotel and take rest.

Day 11: Depart  from Mumbai.

After leisure breakfast half day sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill, offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive & Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and drive through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive and Flora Fountain. Evening transfer to Airport to connect flight for onward journey.
